ABOUT THE
EVENT
TEDxPorthtowanWomen is all about ideas worth spreading, particularly those that challenge perceptions and empower every generation.
Our stage, set in the rich heritage of Cornwall, is a platform for communicators, educators, and change-makers who bring groundbreaking ideas to life. We carefully curate our speakers to ensure the most exciting and innovative ideas from women who live in Cornwall are featured on our stage and beyond.
Our first event, "Breaking the Mould: Every Generation Empowered," will be a landmark celebration on International Women’s Day, 8 March 2026.
Who We're Looking For
We want to create a platform for women from all walks of life—to be seen, heard, and celebrated. We are interested in hearing from those already known in their field, but also from hidden women, busy women, experienced women, or women just starting out. We are seeking any woman who has a crucial idea to share that exemplifies the strength and diversity of our region.
